If you looked at the tags… well, there’s your hint.

For the sake of my blood pressure, I hope this is the worst movie I’ve seen all year. Otherwise I may just break something. You’d better hope it’s not an expensive lamp.

I watched the first Grudge. That movie was good- the story was interesting most of the time and the horror bits were good. It all seemed good to me (but I will admit that was one of the first horror movies I watched, ever). It left me scared.

But see, here I am. Not in hysterics, afraid of some creepy girl with black hair or some asian kid with a cat’s meow for a voice is going to kill me in my sleep. Hell, I watched this in a basement around 10 o’clock at night. With the lights off. Not to mention my little 5 year old sister was there with me during the whole, painful showing of The Grudge 2. She wasn’t phased at all. There is a LOT of reasons for that. And all are bad.

Let me just say immediately that I thought Netflix had sent me a bad DVD/disc sleeve match. Let me describe the movie to you.

Some woman kills her boyfriend with some hot grease to the head and a frying pan to the noggin. Then, some chicks talking. Then they go in a house. Oh yeah… THAT house. So you’re telling me some girl goes freaking CRAZY to burn down this house- but it’s still standing? Anyway… these three girls walk in the house, in a similiar fashion to the first movie. Oh look, Japanese girl! Water bubbling! OH SH** BBQ!!! IT’S A LION!!one!11!!!eleven!! That wasn’t scary at all. And then the girls go upstairs. I wouldn’t go in a dark closet myself, but it’s not much of a plot point nothingless. OH MY GOD THE DOOR WON’T OPEN! AAAAGGGH! That describes a few more minutes of the film. Then the black haired new girl sees this freaky girl with a screwed up neck and weird moan! AAAGGGGHHH THIS IS LEGIT HORROR! Oh, and then the crazy chick falls off a building. AAAGGGHHH! I mean CRRRRRRYYYYY EVEN THOUGH I HATE MY SISTER! Now, let’s see how we can stop the madness! Oh look… the black haired chick lives in the same apartment as the little boy! Oh my god! The evil girl who haunts the peoples mom was an exorcist! And the asian chick gets taken through the mirror OH MY GOD. Look… some guy dies in a red room! Horror movie reference! A girl pisses herself! The school doctor went to the house too! Burning down the house doesn’t do anything! Oh my god the mom of the evil spirit dies when she sees the evil spirit that she put in the evil girl that was EEEEVVVVIIIIIIIIIIIIL! OMG I gotta stop this says girl who jumped off of tall building’s sister! She goes in the house and it’s look NO KAREN DON’T GO UP THERE and she walks up but she sees the guy who KILLED THE EVIL SPIRIT WOMAN WHO HAUNTS THE HOUSE! And then the guy, during a series of frightening FLASHBACKS, snaps Karen’s sisters neck! And now she’s kinda evil and half-alive! And then the little boy discovers that the black haired chick who lives next door brought evil that killed his sister and his parents and OH MY GOD WHY DID YOU BRING THE EVIL here! And then black haired chick gets eaten and then the little boy dies!

Was that most nonsensical text you’ve ever read in your entire life? Exactly. That’s how bad this movie’s story is. And it’s horror moments. And its random-ass, unrelatable characters. Heck, I wrote the review by describing the plot! Wow…. and I wasted this time when I could have been studying for a test….
